Past Services

The Palmetto Palace has served the community in a number of ways over the years, continuously finding new opportunities to get help to those who need it. Click here to learn how you can get involved with our current service initiatives.

Food Distribution

While food insecurity is an ongoing challenge, the Palmetto Palace frequently partners with volunteers and other organizations to help acquire, package, coordinate, and deliver food to communities during peak times of crisis.

Drive Up Health Services

At the start of the pandemic, the Palmetto Palace Mobile Health Unit was able to serve the Lowcountry community with several drive up offerings. These included various forms of COVID-19 education and best practices for quarantine and isolation, free masks, general healthcare screenings, and the opportunity to have questions answered by licensed nurse practitioners.

Hospitality Support

In its early days, the Palmetto Palace focused on supporting the individuals and families of a hospitalized loved one through lodging, food, transportation and other special care needed during their time of crisis.

“The Palmetto Palace has been a huge help for A.C. Corcoran Elementary School. Your kindness has allowed us to provide gifts for families in need. Our school couldn't have met our goal without your organization. We look forward to working with you again in the future.”
